It come to our attention that some weak people, unfamiliar to combat sports, Kickboxing and in particular the rules and regulations in Asian Sport, post some information which have been published in WAKO Calendar for information.
We would like to inform you that, Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA), works closely with WAKO since now 25 years.
Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA), is the duly recognized by Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) as the sole body representing the sport of Kickboxing in the Asian Continent.
Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) is the only body recognized by OCA to be technically in charge of the Kickboxing competition during the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) had successfully conducted the Kickboxing sport during the following Games under the auspices of the Olympic Council of Asia:
– 2nd Asian Indoor Games 2007 in Macau,
– 1st Asian Martial Arts Games 2009 in Thailand,
– 3rd Asian Indoor Games 2009 in Vietnam,
– 4th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2013 in South Korea,
– 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2017 in Turkmenistan
And of course, 30th SEA Games 2019 Philippines under auspices of the SEA Games Federation.
