Asian Power in action in Phnom Penh

Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) delegation led by President Nassiri conducted the total of 3 full days Kickboxing Technical, Rules and Regulations seminar on 22 until 24 October 2022 included in Phonm Penh (Cambodia).
The delegation was composed of Mr Nasser Nassiri, President of Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA), Euncheon Jeong Ph. D the chairman of Technical Committee/ Members of the Board of Asian Confederation and Mr Albert Lim the development officer for Southeast Asian Zone.
The seminar took place at the request of Cambodia Kickboxing Federation and with support of Cambodia sport authorities and 32nd Cambodia South Asian Games Organizing Committee.

The seminar opening ceremony took place on 22nd October 2022 with visit of officials from sport authorities and CAMSOC.
H.E Vath Chamroeun, the Secretary General of Cambodia Olympic Committee open the seminar thanking President Nassiri for his effort and contribution developing Kickboxing in Asia and in particular Southeast Asia since Kickboxing was included in Southeast Asian Games.
H.E Champion is also Secretary General of the Organising Committee of the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held in Cambodia in 2023 – the first time the “Kingdom of Wonder” will have hosted the regional sports fest since it began in 1959.

President Nassiri thanks Cambodia Sport Authorities and CAMSOC for their effort and support to National Kickboxing Federation and assured the full support of Asian Kickboxing Confederation and its executives.
President Nassiri added that we will do our best and put in place our competences, experiences that Kickboxing sport will be placed one more time at the highest ranking of organised sport during the Games.

Euncheon Jeong Ph. D declared: We have conducted successful competitions in different editions of Asian Games starting by inclusion of Kickboxing in 2nd Asian Indoor Games Macau 2007 and since we are cumulating success.
Jeong added: Our last successes are explanatory by success of Kickboxing competition of 2017 Ashgabat 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games and two last editions of SEA Games such as 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019 and 31st SEA Games Vietnam 2022 which were placed at highest ranking of best event during these Games.
Asian Kickboxing Confederation is in charge of organisation of the Kickboxing completion of upcoming SEA Games which will take place during May 2023 in Cambodia.
