2021-12-23 Year-end Message by Mr. Nasser Nassiri, the President of the Asian Kickboxing Confederation

Dear Members, Dear Colleagues, Dear friends,
On this occasion, where the 2021-year ends, it is a good moment to look back on what we missed to accomplish and what we accomplished.
Our prestigious Kickboxing competition of the 6th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games and 31st South East Asian Games and finally Asian Championships, all have been postponed to protect our athletes, you and future of our sport.
We must continue to focus on our top events, the Asian Kickboxing Championships to be scheduled to take place in 2022 and postpended events in particular Kickboxing competition of the 31st SEA Games Scheduled to take place from 06 to 13 May 2022 in Bac Ninh (Vietnam) and the 6th AIMAG which will now be held from 17th to 26th of November 2023 in Thailand.
We are pleased with your vast involvement and participation in our different online webinar’s seminars in particular the Belt GRADING PROGRAM, KICKBOXING TECHNICS & RULES webinar seminar in last August.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, I strongly believe that we have many reasons to be optimistic heading into the new year. Our activities decreased significantly during last two years but we have shown that by working together in sportsman’s spirit, we can definitely overcome any obstacle.
I am sending you the warmest thoughts and to the members, colleagues and friends who celebrating the Christmas, I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas, and wishing you all a joyous holiday season with health, happiness and prosperity in 2022.
