Asian Power in Action in Indonesia
Indonesian Kickboxing (PPKBI) organized its national team qualification/selection on 5th and 6th April, 202 at Nam Hotel Center, Jakarta.
This was the second part of qualification/selection with around 100 participation. The first part of qualification/selection took place recently with more than 300 participants.
The restricted sanitary rules complying with fight against COVID-19 was put in place by the organisation.
All participants, athletes, officials/coach, judges, organizing committee and crew doing the antigen swab test to make sure that all in the good and healthy condition, free from Covid-19 suspect.
The competition held without any audience/spectators, no crowd allowed in this games. Because its basic requirement from the local authority and the Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force regulations.
Only invitational officials were present and visited the event such as Mr. Ngatino, the President, General Treasurer: Mr. Karan Sukarno Walia, Board of Supervisors : Mr. Veri Anggrijono who is also member of Directorate General of Trade of Indonesia, Secretary General: Mr. Ilham Permana and Vice Secretary General: Dr. Rosi Nurasjati from Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The message was communicated from the chairman of the advisory board Mr. Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for the Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, for the event theme: “Respect, Excellence and Friendship”.
