By this short email, on behalf of the President of the Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) and members of the Board of Directors, I would like to inform you the date and place of WAKO ASIA Kickboxing Championships 2016/2017 (Full Contact, Low Kick, Point Fighting, Kick Light, Light Contact and Musical form style) which will serve as the test event for the next Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games.
In collaboration with national Kickboxing Federation and Turkmenistan Sport authorities, we will hosting the WAKO ASIA Kickboxing Championships 2016/ 2017 (Full Contact, Low Kick, Point Fighting, Kick Light, Light Contact and Musical form style) as follows:
Date: 24 to 30 of April 2017
Place: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Arrival date: 24th to 25th April 2017 latest 3pm
Departure date: 1st May 2017 everybody is free to leave
Competition dates: 26-30 April 2017.

Styles: (Full Contact, Low Kick, Point Fighting, Kick Light, Light Contact and Musical form style)
Categories for Men: All Categories in all style mentioned above
Categories for Women: (-52 Kg, -56 Kg, -60 Kg, -65 Kg)
These categories are announced under reserves and the final categories will be announced in information package and details of the competition
The main airport arrival and departure is Ashgabat International Airport (ASB), the organization committee will provide to participants transportation from Ashgabat International Airport to the Hotel and back.
