Mr. Nassiri President of Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA), Vice President of World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO), expressed his profound sadness of the demise of Mr. Partick Baumann, President of Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF), member of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
“The last time I met with him during the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, he was so full of life and I had opportunity to share with him my visions in how to make Kickboxing the biggest combat sport globally.
“His engaging smile, and most importantly his entire dedication to his job, wide knowledge, will be eternally in our hearts.
“On behalf of the entire Kickboxing family, I pay tribute to Mr. Baumann for his immense contribution to the promotion of sport and its values and pass on our condolences to his family and friends to whom I am sending our sincere thoughts and prayers.
“The International sport family will miss forever Mr. Partick Baumann.”
