Asian Kickboxing Confederation Congratulates Newly Elected President of Korea Kickboxing Association
The Asian Kickboxing Confederation extends its warm congratulations to Mr. Kim Hyun-Yeong on his election as the 5th President of the Korea Kickboxing Association, following the official results announced by the Korea Kickboxing Association Election Management Committee on August 9, 2025.
Mr. Kim brings to the role a wealth of experience, having served as President of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Kickboxing Association, and currently holding the position of CEO of One-Stop Shopping Mall. His leadership background and longstanding commitment to the sport are expected to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and integrity of kickboxing in Korea and across Asia.
Importantly, Mr. Kim’s election marks a turning point for the Korea Kickboxing Association, bringing closure to an internal conflict that has persisted for the past few years.
